Volete ancora le altre ricette? Ma siete propri ingordi.
Dopo gli antipasti ecco, nell’ordine del menù, le ricette dei due primi. Due perché c’erano anche i vegetariani da soddisfare.
E dato che per ora so solo fare la Paella di carne e non quella di pesce ho raddoppiato lo sforzo.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Scaldare l’olio nel wok (ho solo quello) e far rosolare lentamente il coniglio. Quando ha preso colore spostarlo ai bordi della padella dove il calore è meno forte e mettere al centro i pezzi di pollo. Rosolare il pollo, spostarlo ai bordi della padella e al centro metterci il maiale.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Quando tutte le carni sono ben rosolate unire cipolla, aglio e peperone. Mescolare e fare ben appassire le verdure prima di aggiungerci il pomodoro e l’alloro.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Salare e rialzare la fiamma. Dopo pochi minuti aggiungere il brodo caldo, lo zafferano e la paprika e far bollire per 5-6 minuti.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Unire i fagiolini, i piselli, i ceci, mescolare e versare il riso a pioggia. Scuotere la padella e proseguire la cottura a fuoco allegro per 15 minuti senza assolutamente mai mescolare. Nel caso aggiungere un mestolo di brodo.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Alla fine il riso sarà cotto al dente e i chicchi asciutti e sciolti e sul fondo della padella si sarà formata una crosticina un po’ bruciacchiata. Deve essere fatta così.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Far raffredare la paella. A me è sembrata più buona fredda che calda, per questo l’ho preparata nel pomeriggio e servita la sera senza riscaldarla. Dato che ho abbondato con le dosi ahimè i sapori si sono persi: la pentola non era abbastanza capiente per contenere tutto il brodo. </span></span></p>

Scolarle e passatele sotto l’acqua fredda. Tagliare a filo la cipolla rossa (io ne ho usata solo metà e l’ho lasciata un po’ in acqua perché perdesse un po’ di odore) e in quattro i pomodorini. Unire lenticchie, cipolla, pomodorini. Aggiustare di sale, pepe, olio e aceto. Se volete mescolate già la senape o lasciate fare agli ospiti.</span></span></p>

I lavori sono cominciati una settimana prima tra la scelta del menù e la divisione della spesa tra supermercati, mercati e discounts (lo ammetto). C’era anche la necessità di soddisfare vegetariani e non, amanti del formaggio e non. Insomma venire incontro al gusto di 21 persone, per il gusto della precisione di una statistica.</span></span></p>

Elaboratissima: bollire il farro per 30-40 min, come indicato dal produttore. Scolare il farro e passarlo sotto l’acqua fredda. Unire le fave ed il pecorino. Infine mescolare al composto anche il limone.</span></span></p>

E’ un piatto relativamente veloce, una volta cotto il farro, e dal sapore decisamente estivo. Per chi non adora il limone non eccederei nell’uso della buccia di limone. Tenete conto che la Cavia ha amato il piatto, ma io un po’ meno. </span></span></p>

Mi sento un po’ in colpa e un po’ di corsa, sono alle prese con impegni lavoro e un prossimo entusiasmante viaggio di lavoro. Ma non mi dimentico certo de La Cavia, come potrei, è così irresistibile. Sabato scorso mi ha persino portato al mare…a vedere il tramonto. Che tenero? No, cioè sì, anche quello. Il suo scopo era andare al mare evitando il traffico.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Al ritorno l’ho ringraziato facendogli un piatto veloce, tipico del Carso, non proprio estivo.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">L’ha apprezzato molto. Ne è rimasto innamorato come me una settimana prima sul Carso in un agriturismo. </span></span></p>

Si tratta di un agriturismo a Sales (Sgonico), semplice, caratteristico, genuino. Veramente un bel posto dove mangiare e rifugiarsi durante un sabato ahimè pioveso. Meno male che il sabato delle Patate in Tecia a Roma il sole c’era.</span></span></p>

Sharon very kindly reply to my question of creole seasoning with a detailed recipe on how to do it at home by myself. But I was more quick, a pair of hours no more. My </span><a href="http://newlywedcooking.blogspot.com/2008/03/chicken-with-mushroom-marsala-sauce-and.html"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Chicken with Mushroom Marsala Sauce </span></a><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">was already made and eaten, obviously.</span></span></p>

<span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Sharon tells that she ate it for the first time in Italy. So I surfed on the net to find the original recipe. No a definitive recipe I found, but I mix Sharon’s version with what I was able to find on the net.</span></span>

Aggiungere il pollo e regolare di sale, pepe e farina. Dopo un po’ aggiungere il Marsala. Far evaporare il Marsala, poi aggiungere gradatamente i funghi e il radicchio rosso. Cuocere per altri 15-20 min a seconda delle dimensioni del pollo.</span></span></p>

La ricetta l’ho un po’ modificata adeguandola alle disponibilità del frigo e ai risultato di una rapida ricerca online. <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">4 -5 sun-dried tomatoes</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Some rocket (rucola in Italian, rughetta in Rome)</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">1 tablespoon of grated Pecorino Romano</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Vegetable stock</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Balsamic vinegar</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">In a pad put sun-dried tomatoes with some water, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Boil for 5-10 min, till water is absorbed by tomatoes.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Boil the water with some vegetable stock and add first the Farro and after 10 minutes the barley. Cook for other 20-30 minutes.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Cut in small pieces rocket and dried tomatoes.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Finally, put the farro and orzo under the water in order to stop their cooking.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Add other ingredients.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">That’s all.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">105 gr farina (105, fidatevi. E&#8217; 105 anche perchè la mamma non pesa, ma va a cucchiai. 1 cucchiaio a casa mia son 15g)</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">1 pizzico di sale</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">1 cucchiaio di olio extra vergine di oliva</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Mettere la farina in una padella, aggiungere man mano (così dice La Mamma) il latte e mescolare bene senza permettere che si formi alcun grumo. A parte sbattere le uova e aggiungere il sale. Unire i due composti, mescolare. Infine aggiungere l’olio. Lasciar riposare un po’.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Poi versare poco olio in una padella (o se avete la creperia…ma non c’è mai stata a casa mia), versarci <span> </span>mezzo mescolo del composto. Cuocere da ambo i lati. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">A crepe fatta, distribuirci sopra la marmellata (ciliegie come ho fatto con la Cavia o fragole come si fa a casa mia). Arrotolare e servire. Suon buone anche non caldissime.</span></span></p>

With strawberry I’ve a long standing love since my childhood. My best b-day party was the one for 5 years. Just me, my parents and grandparents but the key role was play by a basic wonderful cake with strawberry and cream. I should mention that I could have such a positive reminding because I drank for the first time “spumante”.</span></span>

Cut it in small pieces. Cut in four part tomatoes. Put some minutes the<span>  </span>bread in a glass with water. Use the miniper with all the ingredients for 30 seconds. Add salt. Leave in the fridge for a whole night, it’s better.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Ingredients for two people:</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">200 gr strawberries</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">180 gr rice</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Extra vergin olive oil</span></span></p>

Add the strawberries cut in pieces. Cook until the fruit has become a cream. Add the rice. After a while add the wine (if you like it) and finally sdd the vegetable broth to cover the rice and as it evaporates little by little, add some more.</span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">3 eggs</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">150 gr sugar (I use two type of sugar, brown and normal)</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">50 gr milk (equal to 2 and half spoons)</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Some rising agent (3 teaspoon)</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">40 gr oil (not of olive, the quantity is also equal to 2 spoons)</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">40 gr grated chocolate </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">finely grated zest of 1 lemon</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;color:#ff0000;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:10pt;">Use a circular pat of 24-26 cm. </span><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB">Prepari it with butter and flour.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:10pt;">Then mixed eggs, sugar. Mix until you obtain a almost cream. </span><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB">Then add gradually the flour and the rising agent. After add oil, milk and lemon zest. Finally mixed the chocolate.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:10pt;" lang="EN-GB"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Pour half of it into the cake pan. Add half of the strawberries. Then pour the other part of the compound.Finally put the other strawberries and a good looking fashion.</span></span></p>
